Team Members

All team members must have a signed employment agreement in place before they start working for The Warehouse

Your employment agreement sets out the terms and conditions of your employment.


Managers
You have the following responsibilities:
  • Ensure new team members are issued with an employment agreement as part of the job offer via DocuSign
  • Make sure the employment agreement has been signed and returned to you no later then the first day of employment
  • Ensure that you have sighted the team members' original Right to Work, copy and sign the copy to confirm that you have sighted the original

How do I generate an employment agreement for waged team members?

Please use DocuSign for this.

How do I get my team member registered to be paid?

Once the DocuSign agreement has been completed, the hiring manager needs to go to their My Pay to complete the New Starter Process.

How can I access a copy of my employment agreement?

As the employment agreements are completed via DocuSign, you will be prompted to download a copy for your records. The link to the document will be in your email. You can also contact Ask People Support for a copy.

What is Right to Work?

A Right to Work document is a document that proves you are allowed to legally work in New Zealand. This can be a New Zealand Passport, New Zealand Birth Certificate (with photo ID) or Overseas Passport with Valid Visa. This is required for ALL team members. Where this isn't available on file, we might ask for this information for existing team members as well.

What is the Criminal Checks Form?

This form needs to be completed for ALL team members to complete a criminal convictions check.
