Overview

All potential team members (both internal & external) must be reference checked using a minimum of two previous roles. This must include at least one reference from the candidate's direct manager in his/her most recent or current role. Where they have no previous work experience, a previous institution that they have attended such as a school must be contacted. 


At times a candidate may be reluctant to permit reference checking from their current employer until they have been offered the role. If this happens, and if the other reference checks are suitable, a candidate may be offered a role CONDITIONAL upon receiving a statisfactory reference from their current employer. 

To comply with the Privacy Act, the candidate must sign the Application Form which authorises us to seek personal informaiton about the individual from another sourc.e 

You must transfer this information into the candidate’s reference check on the Applicant Tracking System/Snap Hire before you can proceed to Verbal & Email Offer.
