In this role, you will be responsible for stock availability, the execution of the Managers Trading Plan, and the Fill and Stockroom Teams.  You will demonstrate great leadership of the Teams in these areas.

You will assist the Availability Manager in ensuring merchandising standards are met and you will take a proactive role in creating and maintaining a safe working environment.

You will be accountable for the nights when the Availability Manager and the Availability 3IC is away.   

Everything you do in your work will contribute to a positive customer experience, an engaged team and a profitable store.

 You will

  • Ensure merchandising standards, planograms and display guides are maintained.
  • Maintain high levels of on shelf availability through the execution of a Tops Plan, Prioritised fill, Stockroom Ways of working as well as conducting Availability checks.
  • Actively promote a safe environment.
  • Ensure all legal trading requirements are met
  • Ensure your Team is provided the development they require to be the ‘Best they can be’.
  • Take ownership of your own development
  • Understand and live the Team Model
  • Ensure all promotions are tied up correctly
  • Control shrink and database accuracy
  • Maintain the prescribed space plans, Managers Trading Plans and relevant MIPS.
  • Maintain all pricing standards as per the toolkit 
  • Support the Availability Manager an Availability 2IC in ensuring your area achieves its Guide labour % and is rostered to guide – 7 days a week.
  • Review sales and GP performance weekly through effective Plan act review cycles. 
  • Lead a highly productive team by focusing on correct ways of working and performance coaching
  • Deliver consistent Stockroom Ways of working and compliance to relevant toolkits.
  • Participate in audit compliance
  • Maintain a consistent and effective DILO, WILO, MILO, QILO, YILO. For you and your Team
