In this role, you will be responsible for the Shopfloor, including Entertainment and Technology (in a store without an Apparel Manager you will also be responsible for Apparel and Footwear including Jewellery) and the Price Integrity function. You will demonstrate great Leadership of the Teams in these areas. 


You will maintain Merchandising standards and deliver the Managers Trading Plan. You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of planograms and ensure Pricing Integrity and availability meets expectations.


You will take accountability for the Trading manager role in the Trading Managers absence.

  • Maintain the prescribed space plans, Managers Trading Plans and relevant MIPS.
  • Ensure all planograms are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Maintain all pricing standards as per the toolkit 
  • Support the Trading Manager to ensure your area achieves its Guide labour % and is rostered to guide – 7 days a week.
  • Support the Trading Manager to ensure your area achieves its sales targets through effective merchandising and availability processes.
  • Review sales and GP performance weekly through effective Plan act review cycles. 
  • Lead a sales culture in your area through effective review and coaching.
  • Deliver consistent Stockroom Ways of working.
  • Support the Trading Manager to ensure accurate picking of click and collect orders within the given timelines
  • Participate in audit compliance
  • Maintain a consistent and effective DILO, WILO, MILO, QILO, YILO.
