In this role, you will support the Apparel Manager to ensure that the department is visually appealing, using visual merchandising techniques and associated guides. You will encourage a sales culture within your team which includes Clothing, Footwear, Accessories and Jewellery.

You will support the Apparel Manager to ensure merchandising standards are met and you will take a proactive role in creating and maintaining a safe working environment.

You will have accountability for the apparel department in the apparel managers absence.

Everything you do in your work will contribute to a positive customer experience, an engaged team and a profitable store.

You will

  • Apply the visual merchandising techniques and deliver the associated guides.
  • Ensure your area adheres to the Apparel Merchandising Principles in all areas.
  • Support the apparel manager to ensure your area achieves its Guide labour % and is rostered to guide across all hours of trade – 7 days a week.
  • Support the apparel manager to ensure your area achieves its sales targets through effective merchandising and availability processes.
  • Review sales and GP performance weekly through effective Plan act review cycles. 
  • Lead a sales culture in your area through effective review and coaching.
  • Deliver consistent Stockroom Ways of working.
  • Ensure accurate picking of click and collect orders within the given timelines
  • Take ownership of your own development 
  • Understand and live the Team Model
  • Participate in audit compliance
  • Maintain a consistent and effective DILO, WILO, MILO, QILO, YILO. For you and your Team
